Sales & Marketing Manager

Reports to: Deputy Managing Director
Job Purpose:
- To drive business growth by planning and managing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies across all channels, leading and developing the team to achieve maximum efficiency, and meeting sales and market share targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy:
- Develop distribution strategies for all channels (Traditional Trade, Modern Trade, GT).
- Design pricing tiers/discounts for wholesalers, sub-wholesalers, retailers, and mobile vendors.
- Develop trade terms and promotion schemes with sales and margin targets.
- Analyze regional sales data and propose ways to increase sales/expand coverage.
Strategic Marketing:
- Plan brand campaigns and ensure alignment with product positioning.
- Manage marketing budgets for Above the Line (ATL), Below the Line (BTL), and POSM activities.
- Design "in-store" activities such as sampling, roadshows, store signage, and retailer incentives.
- Analyze consumer/competitor behavior to adjust brand and channel strategies.
Team Leadership:
- Manage Sales Field / Supervisor / Trade Marketing / Merchandiser teams.
- Establish KPI systems, coaching, and incentive programs for the sales team to achieve targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, R&D, and Accounting to set prices and accurately forecast products.
