Position: Engineering Manager (Facility / M&E)

Key Responsibilities:
- Integrated Facility Management (Existing Outlets).
- Oversee overall building systems across restaurants, bars, and hotel properties (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen systems).
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure operational efficiency and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex on-site issues with long-term solutions.
- Maintain brand-standard environment (lighting, temperature, ambiance) across outlets.
- Provide technical support and improvement recommendations to operations teams.
- Maintenance Strategy & Team Management.
- Lead and manage internal maintenance teams and external contractors.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance (PM) programs across all sites.
- Control quality of repair, renovation, and fit-out works.
- Manage vendor selection, negotiation, and performance.
- Ensure cost-effective operations within Opex & Capex budgets.
- New Project Development & Design Coordination.
- Review and validate structural and M&E drawings from external consultants.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, and project teams for new openings and renovations.
- Participate in concept and preliminary design (both structural & M&E) for smaller-scale projects.
- Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize cost and functionality.
- Support project execution across mixed-use developments (hospitality, hotel, and F&B projects).
- Technical Authority & Compliance.
- Act as a licensed engineer to sign off drawings and documents for construction permit submission.
- Ensure all projects and operations comply with legal, safety, and engineering standards.
- Handle permits, inspections, and regulatory coordination.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Professional Engineer License.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in: Facility Management / Building Engineering M&E Systems and/or Structural Engineering Construction, Fit-out, or Renovation Projects.
- Strong capability in both M&E systems and structural fundamentals.
- Able to review drawings and perform basic design work independently.
- Experience in hospitality, F&B, retail, or multi-site operations is highly preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant engineering tools.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and hands-on execution skills.
